Less Than One Week to Go!

We'll be leaving from Aldersgate UMC this upcoming Saturday at noon. Packing is underway and the excitement is building. Please keep the team in your prayers for a safe journey. Many thanks for your prayers, love and support.

Team Dedication on Sunday

The team dedication took place yesterday at Aldersgate UMC at the 11 AM service. Rev. John Pinson asked the congregation to pray for the mission and Frank thanked everyone for their generous support. Team members from previous trips were also asked to join us at the alter and we filled the front of the church! We felt so blessed to be loved and supported by our congregation.

Afterward, we had a great get-together--a taco bar and final details of what is in store for us in Nicaragua. The team is excited about serving our Lord. Less than two weeks to go!

Vitamins, Vitamins, Everywhere are Vitamins

Last night we had an unbelievable Pill Packing Party. We labeled and packaged over 65,000 vitamins as well as other medications for the Nicaragua pharmacy. So many former team members showed up to help with the huge task and thanks to everyone's help, we packed every last vitamin. Praise the Lord!

We're Packing & Practicing

The Dental team met last Friday to plan for the dental clinic in Nicaragua. Assignments were made and a complete review of what each one of us would do was covered. Brooke & Arlene will be sterilizing the instruments, Joan will be our receptionist, and Genie will be the Gopher!

Tonight we'll be packing vitamins and other medications at the church.

THREE WEEKS & COUNTING!

Plans are heating up for the mission to Nicaragua. We have lost a couple of team members because of family or health issues, but we have added two more to fill their spots! God is so Good!

We're planning for a medical clinic with two doctors and a well-stocked pharmacy and enthusiatic staff. Plus, we'll have a dental clinic with THREE dentists! We have had a toothbrush drive and church and are ecstatic with the response. The large footlocker in the Sunday School hallway is almost full, so we'll have more than enough to give out to the people we see in the clinics.
